Hi there, my name is Jamie Tan. I am a freelance Professional Hair and Makeup Artist, and beauty blogger based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.
I provide doorstep hair and makeup services for party, dinner, engagement, wedding, photo-shooting, stage, Halloween as well as kid's face painting. I also travel around the country for destination weddings.
Upon request, I do conduct private lessons for individual who wants to learn personal styling and makeup.
It all started when I was little, I love playing my mom's makeup and doll myself up. At 15, i started exploring and learning how to apply makeup to enhance one's facial feature, and it is true that a little colour here and there does make a difference even one may not notice there is actually colour applied!
When I first landed myself in university, I used to get my girlfriends to drop by my place and I will do their hair and makeup before them heading to any party or event, and it is always a heavenly feeling when I see bright happy smile when they look into the mirror and I tell myself, this is what I am going to do one day!
It may sound cliche, but i think everyone is beautiful. Nothing makes me happier than helping them see that in themselves and brings out the confidence in them.
